This notice describes how Norsk Designs, LLC handles personal information in connection with norskdesigns.shop, direct orders, customer enquiries and related communications. It also explains how to contact us about privacy. Different rights can apply depending on where you live and the processing involved.

The address above is the registered office. It is not advertised as a retail store, pickup point or return depot. Email us for the correct instructions before sending a product back.
Send privacy requests to our support email with “Privacy request” in the subject line. Include enough information to identify your relationship with us, but do not email passwords, full card numbers, security codes or unrelated identity documents.
Information you give us
When you place an order or ask for help, information can include your name, email, telephone number if provided, billing and delivery addresses, selected products, order references, payment status and the content of your communications. We use the information needed to complete the relevant purchase or respond to the request.
For custom products, the details you submit can include the requested text, specifications and correspondence about the design. For a return or complaint, we may receive photographs and an explanation of the problem. Please avoid including unrelated people or sensitive information in photographs. If you use a customer account, account identifiers and order information support that service.
Payment details are handled through the payment service used at checkout. Order administration requires transaction information such as the amount, status and reference. Customer support does not ask you to send complete payment credentials to process an enquiry or return.
Information from using the store
Our online store is designed to run on Shopify. Platform and security systems can process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, session identifiers, visited pages, errors and checkout interactions. Information may be collected using cookies, similar browser storage and service logs. Our Cookies Policy explains these technologies and the choices associated with them.
Optional analytics, personalization and advertising features, where enabled, can involve additional information about browsing and interactions. Their use is subject to the applicable notices, choices and legal requirements; purchasing an item is not blanket consent to unrelated marketing.
Why information is used

We do not need every category of information for every interaction. If information essential to an order is missing, we may be unable to fulfill it. Optional marketing preferences are separate from the information needed for a purchase.
Service providers and other recipients
Shopify supplies the intended ecommerce platform. Payment services process payments and refunds. Shipping and fulfillment providers receive information needed for delivery and returns. Providers supporting email, customer communications, hosting, security and store operation can process information for those functions. The information supplied should be relevant to the service being performed.
Where optional analytics or advertising services are enabled, those providers can receive information associated with the relevant features. Some providers have their own privacy responsibilities and may combine information according to their notices. See Shopify's privacy information for its practices. The notice of a payment service also applies to its separate processing.
Information may be disclosed to advisers, public authorities or other parties where necessary to comply with law, obtain advice, address fraud, establish or defend a claim, or carry out a lawful business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. This does not permit unrelated use simply because information was originally collected for a purchase.
Marketing and privacy choices
If you receive marketing email, use its unsubscribe control or contact us to opt out. Necessary messages about an existing order, refund, security issue or legal matter may still be sent. A minimal record of an opt-out may be needed to respect it.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning targeted advertising, sale or sharing of personal information, certain profiling or sensitive-information uses. Contact us to exercise a right or obtain information about processing relevant to you. Where the law requires a specific online opt-out or recognition of a browser preference signal, that requirement applies in addition to contacting us.
Browser Do Not Track settings and legally recognized universal opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, are different mechanisms. Do not assume that switching one on changes every privacy choice on every service. You can contact us about the response applicable to your browser and visit. A privacy statement does not replace a functioning choice mechanism where one is required.
Requests and individual rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may request access to personal information, a copy in a usable format, correction or deletion, or object to or limit specified processing. You may also have a right to appeal a decision or use an authorized agent. These rights and their exceptions vary. We do not represent that every state law applies to every interaction.
Email your request to help@norskdesigns.shop. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity, authority and the records involved before disclosing information or changing an account. We will respond within the applicable legal period and explain a permitted extension or reason we cannot fulfill a request. If an appeal right applies, reply to the decision asking for a review. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Certain records may need to be kept after a deletion request for accounting, legal claims, security or another lawful reason. Where possible, the request should still be addressed for information not subject to that exception. You can also contact the relevant state attorney general or other competent regulator about a privacy concern.
Retention and international processing
We retain information according to its purpose, the life of the customer relationship, applicable recordkeeping duties, fraud-prevention needs and any unresolved dispute. Order records and optional browsing information need not have the same retention period. Information should be deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to applicable obligations.
Service providers can process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Applicable safeguards depend on the processing and the law involved. You can request further information about relevant providers and transfers. Company registration in Alabama does not mean every service provider processes data only in Alabama.
Security, children and external services
Protect your account credentials and avoid sending sensitive payment information to customer support. No internet service can guarantee complete protection against every security risk. Contact us promptly about suspected misuse involving your order or account.
The store's products and purchasing services are intended for a general adult audience, not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Our Etsy shop operates through a separate platform. Etsy's notice and controls apply to its services; we use order or message information made available to us to fulfill the transaction or respond. Following an external link does not transfer all privacy settings from this website to that platform.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when processing or services change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where a material change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required. Posting revised wording is not itself permission to undertake processing that needs a separate choice.
